Number of tourists up 5.1% in first nine months

Ljubljana, 25 October - A steep rise in the number of foreign visitors drove tourism figures in Slovenia up by 5.1% to 5.2 million in the first nine months of 2023. Tourists generated 13.6 million overnight stays, 3.2% more than in the same period last year, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
