Unions happy, employers unhappy with new employment legislation

Ljubljana, 26 October - Trade unions are happy with the changes to the Employment Relationships Act passed today, while employers are disappointed, saying the government showed it did not care for social dialogue, as the three social partners had failed to find common ground, prompting them to quit the Economic and Social Council (ESS) earlier this year.
