Former Ambassador Bonutti dies
Nova Gorica, 29 October - Diplomat and economist Karl Bonutti, Slovenia's former ambassador to the Vatican, has died aged 95. He was a very active member of the Slovenian community in the US and a strong advocate of Slovenia's independence. When Slovenia celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022, he was decorated with the Order of Services.
