Janša fined EUR 8,000 in defamation case brought by ex-STA director

Ljubljana, 3 November - Former prime minister and the opposition Democrats (SDS) leader Janez Janša was found guilty of defamation on Friday by the Celje District Court in a case brought against him by former Slovenian Press Agency (STA) general manager Bojan Veselinovič for a statement that Janša posted about him in 2021 on X, then Twitter.
