Nova Gorica and Gorizia mayors urge peace in Israel and Palestine

Nova Gorica/Gorizia, 6 November - The mayors of Slovenia's Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia, the neighbouring cities that will jointly serve as the 2025 European Capital of Culture, have issued a call for peace in Israel and Palestine. They argue that the two cities have showed that a border marked by the tragedies of the 20th century can be replaced by cooperation.
