Mura dugout not as old as initially thought

Murska Sobota, 8 November - The 11-metre dugout canoe which was found on the bank of the Mura River, north-east of the country, in mid-September is much younger than initially fought, analyses of moss and wood conducted in a lab in Miami, US, have shown. The vessel most likely dates back to the 2nd half of the 16th century and is not prehistoric as originally thought.
