Večer staff protest move to offices owned by mayor

Maribor, 13 November - Staff at the newspaper Večer have come out in protest against a decision by the management to relocate the paper's Maribor headquarters to offices owned by Maribor Mayor Saša Arsenovič as of 2024. They claim this would erode their independence and credibility, an allegation that the management rejected.
