Equality ombudsman urges against cutting funds to fight discrimination

Ljubljana, 15 November - Advocate of the Principle of Equality Miha Lobnik has written to MPs urging them to vote against a government proposal to cut his office's funds in the 2024 national budget by EUR 220,000. In this way his office would lose all funds for research into discrimination, awareness campaigns about it and publications.
