Record low amount of waste generated per capita in 2022
Ljubljana, 16 November - An average Slovenia resident generated 1,359 kilogrammes of waste in 2022, mineral waste excluded, which is 12% less than in 2021 and the least on record, data from the Statistics Office (SURS) shows. The decrease is mainly due to a significant drop in the amount of waste generated in thermal processes.
