Cattle seizure to be investigated, minister says
Ljubljana, 19 November - The decision by a veterinary inspector to seize two dozen cattle under new, stricter animal welfare rules, earlier this week is proving increasingly contentious. The farmer, who reported the inspector for theft, enjoys unequivocal support of agricultural organisations, while acting Agriculture Minister Marjan Šarec announced internal oversight.
