Farmers welcome rejection of EU pesticides reduction bill
Ljubljana, 23 November - The country's Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) has welcomed yesterday's decision by the European Parliament to reject the European Commission's legislative package to halve the overall use of pesticides by 2030. The chamber says such a regulation would jeopardise Slovenia's food security.
