Budget laws vote in limbo after surprise result ascribed to system glitch

Ljubljana, 23 November - A package of budget laws for 2024 and 2025 set for parliamentary approval on Wednesday has become the subject of a voting conundrum whose resolution could prove elusive. A significant amendment pushed through by the opposition led to part of the vote being deferred to Friday as the coalition attributed the result to a voting system glitch.
