Much room for improvement noted in efforts combating violence against women

Ljubljana, 24 November - The upcoming International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women was marked in Slovenia on Friday by the second national conference on the topic, which stressed the need for cooperation between NGOs and state bodies, and by calls by rights groups, which focused on protection of older women and of children subject to domestic violence.
