More than 24,000 cultural events held in Slovenia in 2022
Ljubljana, 28 November - On average 67 cultural events were held in Slovenia every day in 2022 for a total of 24,347 events, the Statistics Office said ahead of the Merry Day of Culture, celebrated on 3 December in honour of the birth anniversary of poet France Prešeren (1800-1849), considered Slovenia's greatest poet. Culture contributed 1% to Slovenia's GDP.
