Defendant in stent purchase corruption case pleads not guilty

Ljubljana, 27 November - Irma Košutar Gašparić, head of the medical supplier Vasc-Med, pleaded not guilty in Monday's pre-trial hearing at the Ljubljana District Court in a case involving alleged corruption in the supply of stents to Slovenian hospitals. The second defendant in the case, UKC Ljubljana cardiologist Matjaž Bunc, did not show up for his hearing.
