Fajon calls for permanent ceasefire in Gaza
New York, 29 November - Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon stressed the need for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza as she attended a UN Security Council session dedicated to the situation in the Middle East. She said this was needed so diplomacy could arrive at a political solution to the situation in the Middle East. She also backed the proposal for a peace conference.
