MEPs back Bogovič's report on small modular reactors

Strasbourg, 12 December - MEPs backed with a two-thirds majority at the last plenary session of the European Parliament this year a report by Slovenian MEP Franc Bogovič (EPP/SLS) on small modular reactors (SMRs). The report calls for the EU to become more self-sufficient in energy, Bogovič's office said.
