Prešeren Prize winner Erika Vouk treats words as sacred

Ljubljana, 20 December - Poet and translator Erika Vouk is one of the latest two winners of the Prešeren Prize, the most prestigious accolade an artist can get in Slovenia. An author of eleven collections of poetry, Vouk has been known to work on a poem for weeks, months or even years. Words are sacred, she says.
