Ombudsman calls for human rights legislation overhaul
Ljubljana, 20 December - Marking the 30th anniversary of the passage of the Human Rights Ombudsman Act, Ombudsman Peter Svetina on Wednesday called for the legislation to be overhauled. Society is changing and institutions must adapt so as to be able to respond effectively to challenges and needs of the people, he said.
