Central bank's GDP growth forecast for 2024 remains at 2.2%

Ljubljana, 20 December - Bank of Slovenia has downgraded the country's GDP growth forecast from the 2% projected in June to 1.3%, but the forecast for 2024 remains at 2.2%. In 2025, the economy is expected to expand by 2.3%. Inflation this year will average 7.2%, but in 2024 and 2025 it is expected to drop to 3% and 3.1%, respectively.
