Most Slovenian cities give up fireworks

Ljubljana, 24 December - Most Slovenian urban municipalities decided years ago that they will no longer organise New Year's firework displays, citing concerns about the impact on the environment, people's health and animals' welfare. Ljubljana and Murska Sobota are the only exceptions.
