Public health authority fined for infringement, says report

Ljubljana, 27 December - The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) has been slapped with a fine of EUR 40,000 for an infringement of the public procurement law in a Covid contact tracing deal, the newspaper Delo reports. The Ljubljana Local Court also fined Milan Krek, the then director of the NIJZ, who was ordered to pay EUR 1,000. The ruling is not yet final.
