Stock market index gains almost half a percent

Ljubljana, 28 December - It was a mostly positive day on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday, as no big name posted a loss, with the SBI TOP benchmark index gaining 0.48% to 1,253.08 points. The insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav (+1.5%) was the biggest gainer, while the drug maker Krka was the most coveted item, accounting for almost half of total volumes of EUR 710,000.
