Golden Fox: Vlhova in the lead after 1st run, Shiffrin out

Kranjska Gora, 7 January - Slovak skier Petra Vlhova is in the lead after the first run of the women's World Cup giant slalom race in Kranjska Gora on Sunday. But the second run will not see a battle between her and the overall World Cup standings leader, US skier Mikaela Shiffrin, because the latter dropped out. Two Slovenians will compete in the second run.
