Doctors' strike
"Strike despite last year's pay increase": In the first eight months of last year doctors' and dentists' pay went up, so many wonder why they will go on strike tomorrow. Demanding the government fulfil its commitments, they will handle only emergency cases. (front page, 3)

War in Gaza
"Three months of fighting and suffering": Three months into the war in Gaza, the number of Palestinian casualties totals more than 22,800 and thousands are missing. Gaza is on the verge of famine, and diseases are running rampant. (front page, 5)

Skiing
"Slovak heroine wins Golden Fox": Slovak skier Petra Vlhova won the Golden Fox competition after finishing fourth in Saturday's giant slalom and claiming first place in Sunday's slalom race in Kranjska Gora. The organisers did great considering poor weather conditions, and the turnout was at around 6,500 visitors. (front page, 9)

Doctors' strike

Cave rescue
