Evacuation of group trapped in carst cave set to begin

Cerknica, 8 January - The evacuation of the five people trapped in a carst cave since Saturday afternoon is expected to begin at around 2pm today. The water level in the Križna Jama cave, which had risen due to rain and trapped a family and two guides about 2.4 kilometres from the entrance, is believed to have subsided sufficiently.
