Doctors staging one-day strike

Ljubljana, 9 January - Doctors at most health organisations around the country will stage a token strike between 7am and 9pm on Tuesday in protest at the lack of progress in pay negotiations with the government and reform of the health system. Doctors will deal only with emergencies during the strike. Cancer treatments and patients in hospitals will not be affected.
