Mateja Čalušić appointed new agriculture minister
Ljubljana, 12 January - The National Assembly appointed Mateja Čalušić new agriculture, forestry and food minister in a 45:29 vote on Friday to replace Irena Šinko, who was dismissed in mid-October. MPs agree that the new minister faces many challenges, and farmers are open to cooperation and ready to get down to business. Čalušić has already been sworn in.
