Doctors and dentists start general strike

Ljubljana, 15 January - The Fides trade union of doctors and dentists will launch a general strike on Monday after talks with the government bore no fruit following a one-day token strike on Tuesday. The strike will last until a suspension or until a pay agreement is reached with the government. Fides expects many will join the strike.
