High temperatures, absence of snow exacting heavy toll on ski resorts

Ljubljana, 19 January - Slovenia's winter resorts and ski lift operators have been struggling mightily this winter in the face of unseasonably high temperatures and almost complete absence of natural snow. The number of skiers recorded by the end of last year was less than half of the 2021 figure, but there is still hope following the low temperatures in recent days.
