"State turning to people to get money through bonds": Slovenian citizens are expected to be able to start buying state bonds next week. The details are to be presented by the Finance Ministry tomorrow. (front page, 8)
Investigation targeting PM
"Golob being investigated by prosecution": The anti-graft watchdog has suspended its investigation into the alleged pressure from Prime Minister Robert Golob on former Interior Minister Tatjana Bobnar after the prosecution said that revealing certain documents from the file to Golob would hurt the interest of the relevant pre-trial proceedings. "From future prison to illegal dumping site": The construction of men's prison in Dobrunje is under way, but it seems that a subcontractor has been depositing different waste from the construction site to a near-by farm land. (front page, 8)
Railway accident investigation
"Human error the only cause for train accident": An internal investigation by the national railways operator has shown that human error was to blame for an accident that resulted in two deaths on railway tracks just south of Postojna in late December. It found that the signalman failed to inform the maintenance crew that a passenger train was approaching. (front page, 3)
