Legal basis submitted for decade-old referendum legislation overhaul

Ljubljana, 26 January - The MPs of the ruling coalition filed on Friday a proposal for an overhaul of referendum legislation that was already enshrined in the Constitution in 2013. The changes, which were observed in the eight popular votes held since then without a legislative basis, include the "rejective referendum" model requiring a rejection quorum.
