Justice Ministry not surprised by Slovenia's CPI drop

Ljubljana, 31 January - Slovenia dropping a spot on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is not surprising, the Justice Ministry said on Wednesday. The situation in and independence of the judiciary and prosecution service affect the prosecution of corruption, and considering the low pay in these branches, the drop is not unexpected, it added.
