Flood reconstruction
"Reconstruction fund to collect EUR 1.6bn": The recently passed changes to the budget implementation legislation will launch the flood reconstruction fund. Funds will flow in from different sources and the finance minister believes EUR 1.6 billion could be collected in five years. (front page, 3)
Prevc retires
"Champion Peter Prevc bids farewell": As ski jumper Peter Prevc announced his retirement, he thanked those who helped him, above all his wife Mina and their two kids. (front page, 14)
Inflation
"Inflation slowing down": Inflation in Slovenia is slowing down rapidly, dropping from 4.2% year-on-year in December to 3.3% in January, with a 0.6% deflation recorded on the monthly level. (front page, 8)

"After Žibert, Švarc Pipan leaving as well": The secretary general of the Social Democrats, Klemen Žibert, resigned after Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan accused him of meddling in her ministry's affairs, particularly in the purchase of an overpriced building in Ljubljana. National education programme
