Slovenia's birth rate hits historic low
Ljubljana, 14 February - The number of newborn children in Slovenia dropped to 16,800 last year, which is 5% fewer than the year before and the lowest number since this data started to be recorded in 1922, preliminary data from the national Statistics Office (SURS) shows.
