Slovenia praises Somalia's progress in UN Security Council

New York, 19 February - Slovenia's representative in the UN Security Council Samuel Žbogar praised the progress Somalia has made in economy and security since 2022 at Monday's meeting on the situation in Somalia. The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country is worsened by extreme weather events and continued hostilities with the extremist Islamic militia Al Shabab.
