Energy poverty rate flat in 2023, but more people affected

Ljubljana, 28 February - Around 62,000 or 7.2% of households in Slovenia lived in energy poverty last year, which is the same share as in 2022, while the number of people living in such households increased by 7,000 to 109,000. Between 2014 and 2023, this share decreased by about a third or 26,000 households, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
