Colorectal cancer screening programme marks 15 years
Ljubljana, 1 March - Slovenia's colorectal cancer screening programme Svit marks its 15th anniversary this year. As part of the programme, 4,100 cases of cancer have been discovered and 31,700 persons had surgery to remove pre-cancer tissue. The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) urges men in particular to respond to invitations for screenings.
