Minister says border checks to stay due to illegal migration

Brussels, 4 March - Interior Minister Boštjan Poklukar said in Brussels on Monday that lifting the temporary checks on the border with Croatia was out of the question for the time being, as the number of illegal crossings had significantly increased in the past two months. This is also the reason for the plan to establish asylum centres close to the border.
