Information security
"Tiktok increasingly becoming stumbling stone also in Europe": Chinese social network Tiktok, which is popular especially among the young, has long been a stumbling stone in the US and now the US Congress passed a ban on its use that still needs to be endorsed by the Senate and the US president. This opens questions for Europe as well. (front page, 5)

Krka dividends
"Krka's dividend proposal coming in April": Unaudited data show pharma Krka generated EUR 314 million in net profit last year, a bit more than the company reported in its preliminary estimate in January. (front page, 9)

Handball
"Novak scores winning goal just before the end": The Slovenian handball team started the Olympic qualifications with a victory against Brazil last night. (front page, 18)

Prisons
"No announced audit of prison construction": Former Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan has allegedly ordered an audit into the construction of a new men's prison in Dobrunje over suspected irregularities. Despite assurances that the audit will be carried out it has not been conducted even though it turned out that some information has been concealed. (front page, 8)

Housing policy
"Housing crisis tackled with raising of rents": In April non-profit rents will go up by 4.2%, which is to raise some urgently needed funds to housing funds for maintenance and renovation of the apartments. (front page, 3)

"Večer's person is doctor from Štajerska": Večer's person of the year from Štajerska is oncologist Maja Ravnik. She was picked among ten candidates by Večer readers. (front page, 3)

Lack of labour force
"Nepalese coming to Koroška": As steel group SIJ needs workers in production, the first 30 workers from Asia are coming to Ravne na Koroškem. (front page, 17)

Stun gun failure
"Stun guns fail for the first time": Police have come under fire due to their inability to disarm a man who was threatening people with two knives at the Bavarski Dvor bus stop this week. (front page, 9)

Renovation of Drama theatre
"Price of room and content": The Ljubljana Drama theatre will move to a substitute location due to renovation in the next season. The culture minister says the costs of the EUR 58.5 million project of renovation have not gone up and works are proceeding as scheduled. (front page, 12)
