Farmers call off rally as they sign preliminary deal with govt

Ljubljana, 18 March - The representatives of farmer organisations and government signed on Monday an agreement that will serve as a basis for further talks on their demands. The farmers thus decided to cancel a massive protest they planned for Tuesday in Ljubljana.
