Peter Prevc's retirement
"It echoed in Planica: Thank you, Peter": The eldest of the ski jumping Prevc brothers, the 31-year-old Peter, bid farewell competitive sport farewell at the World Cup season finals at Planica. He will now dedicate more time to his family - wife Mina and sons Ludvik and Oskar. (front page, 9-10)

Attack in Moscow
"Mourning after terrorist attack": A day of mourning was held in Russia yesterday for the 137 victims of Friday's terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall in the outskirts of Moscow, including three children. While Russians are allegedly discovering traces that lead to Ukraine, the West speaks about an attack by the Islamic State. (front page, 5)

Pre-school education
"One tenth stays in kindergarten": The enrolment of children who will enter primary school in September is ending. It covers children who will reach the age of six in the current year, but for one reason or another, a tenth of such children stay in kindergarten for another year. (front page, 3)

"Thank you for everything, legend!": As Peter Prevc bid competitive sport farewell at the World Cup season finals at Planica, singer Luka Šešek sang him Andrea Bocelli's song "Con te partirò", better known under its English title Time to Say Goodbye, which Bocelli sang with Sarah Brightman. "Payment for protection in risk areas from one's own pocket": The availability of protection from tick-borne encephalitis in Slovenia depends on the individual's age and regions where they reside. GPs advocate for vaccination to be free of charge for all adults, but the more realistic option is that it be expanded only by a generation or two. (front page, 3)

"Changes in schools": In the coming school year, several primary schools will introduce the changes brought by the updated law on primary schools, including the extended programme concept, which covers morning care and what has so far been called supplementary and additional classes, as well as extracurricular activities. Funding of municipalities
"Maribor deprived of 35 million euros": The paper writes about Maribor being underfunded becoming an increasing problem of the entire state, and how brain drain is becoming a natural disaster after the region had been hit by Covid, the energy crisis and floods. (front page, 4)

Attack in Moscow
"After horrifying attack in Moscow": After Friday's terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall in the outskirts of Moscow, which claimed at least 152 lives, Russian President Vladimir Putin is pointing finger at Ukraine, while the Islamic State claimed responsibility. (front page, 5)

Peter Prevc's retirement
"Good luck, legend!": It was not the winner of last World Cu event at Planica and the best ski flyer this season, Daniel Huber, or Stefan Kraft, the overall winner, who was at the forefront on Sunday. It was Slovenia's Peter Prevc, the "champion from Dolenja Vas", who bid professional competitions farewell at the age of 31. (front page, 2, 13-14)
