Defendant in EU funds fraud case pleads not guilty
Maribor, 28 March - Žiga Štajnbaher, the head of a youth organisation who has been charged with fraud in Erasmus+ projects, pleaded not guilty at the arraignment hearing at the Maribor District Court on Thursday. The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) in Ljubljana claims he has defrauded the EU budget of nearly EUR 65,000.
