Slovenia celebrating General Rudolf Maister
Kamnik/Maribor, 29 March - Slovenia is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of General Rudolf Maister (1874-1934), who established the first Slovenian army in 1918 and captured territory around Maribor to set what would become Slovenia's northern border. Many events are being held around the country in honour of Maister.
