Organ donor rates record high last year

Ljubljana, 31 March - Slovenia is looking back at a very successful year in terms of organ donation. Slovenia Transplant recorded several milestones in 2023, including the number of active donors per million residents passing 30 for the first time ever. A total of 186 organs were donated, while 183 patients were waiting for a transplant.
