Orange-coded wind alert issued for NE Slovenia

Ljubljana, 1 April - The Environment Agency has issued an orange weather alert for the northeast of the country due to strong winds. The gusts of wind may exceed 70 kilometres per hour this afternoon, which means the wind can cause trees or tree branches to fall, damage roofs and cause disruptions in traffic. A yellow alert is in place for the rest of the country.
