Dispossession of land in flood-prone areas remain an option

Ljubljana, 11 April - The parliamentary Finance Committee voted on Thursday against an opposition-sponsored bill that would abolish the option of dispossession of land in areas affected by floods in 2023. The SDS argue this option would pose a threat to agricultural land while coalition MPs believe there are enough safeguards in the existing legislation.
