MPs pass proposal for preferential vote referendum
Ljubljana, 18 April - The National Assembly passed on Wednesday a motion for a consultative referendum, in which Slovenians would decide whether they wanted the option of a preferential vote in the general elections. Despite some reservations, the coalition parties and the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) voted in favour of the proposal.
