Slovenia regrets US veto on Palestinian push for full UN membership

Ljubljana/New York, 19 April - Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon regrets that the UN Security Council did not adopt a draft resolution that recommended that Palestine be admitted to full UN membership, the Foreign Ministry said late on Thursday after the US vetoed Palestine's bid. She reiterated that only a two-state solution could guarantee peace.
