Lendava remembers 1944 mass deportation of Jews to Auschwitz

Lendava, 26 April - The city of Lendava marked on Friday the 80th anniversary of a mass deportation of Jews from the region with several events, including one at the Lendava Synagogue, which was attended by President Nataša Pirc Musar. While remembering the Holocaust victims, she also urged against today's radicalisation and anti-Semitism.
